Private Page: For Rose and Claire!  3rd Skype Crit May 2020
<<Previous R&C Page <<      >>Next R&C Page>>
Looking forward to seeing you. SO glad you made it safely back to Italy. See link in top right if you need to go back to the page where we left off from the last Skype in August 2019. Hugs, Jayne

Section A: Fall 2019:
After we talked in August 2019, I first experimented with crops of vintage images in various arrangements...

I then created litho's-- approximately 11 x 11 inches. I was feeling like I was on the verge of really getting somewhere... and it was time for the end of Semester crit. I showed these lithos (and a mock-up of a video piece). My crit went horribly.

>>Side note, one professor suggested that make a litho piece of these images, in this arrangement.

Section B: Spring 2020:
This Spring Semester, I've moved back to water soluable graphite on canvas, and back to the babies on animals. So far I've done a goat pulling 2 children, an impala (or some other horned animal) with a baby, a zebra with baby, a camel with baby, a pony w an older boy, and I remade my original pony with baby piece.

Section C: Video Work
This past Semester I also experimented with making a video, if you have time. It's 3 min... and unfinished. After the first 30 seconds it stays about the same until the end. I had been planning on having more sets of hands fade in and out. Here's the link to watch the video.  My professor wants me to try projecting video onto fabric in an installation.

Section D:
Since Mid-March, I have not been able to go to my lovely studio at the University. So I'm in my home studio, which is quite nice!
